First off, if this belongs in a different forum feel free to move!
Ok, I'm looking at buying a 69 mustang.
Warranty tag: 9R01H144871

The guy is trying to tell me this is a GT. He did a Marti report and sadly it was born in San Jose. Did they make coupe gt or only fastback? The engie only has 92k miles on it and the outside is in pretty darn good shape...and the int is stripped-ish (missing carpet and door panels. It runs and drives. He wants to get 5k for it. I'm not sure what it's worth (gt or non gt). I have some pics I can upload if that would help. Thanks!
I don't know if the car is a GT or not, but I believe they did make GT Coupes. If you doubt the authenticity of his Marti Report, I'd get your own from Marti report. I think they cost $17 - it's for people looking at buying a car.

Are you saying the Marti Report doesn't say GT Package or Performance Equipment Group? If it does not, then I'd say it is not a GT.

Ok, so here is the report. Hopefully ya can see it. I guess if its not a GT then maybe I can get it for cheaper I wanted a fast back (like most people lol) but this is in my price range and close.
Most of the reports I've seen, if it was ordered with the GT Equipment on the Marti report it would say under -
"Your Car Was Ordered With The Following Options"
GT Equipment Group
If the person that you are buying the car from is saying that it is worth more because it is an original GT optioned car it looks like that would be a false statement according to the report there.
Yea it looks less and less likely it is a GT. I should back up, he said he is not sure if its a GT or not. Here are a couple more pictures (sorry for bad quality it was inside his shop with poor lighting).
It's not a GT, there's nothing listed on the Marti.
One interesting note is it had the very rare rear seat speaker originally, $12.95 option. Doesn't affect the value any but that's an option I knew of but your car is the first one I saw it listed on. It would have been a single speaker to match the single speaker in the dash being an AM radio.
The car was sharp looking with the Acapulco Blue paint and blue interior.

Hopefully a 1969 convertible or Sportsroof (non Mach or Boss) for next Mustang project
Trying to find my father's 1973 Mustang Grande he bought brand new. 3F04F126773 last known registration and title was in New Jersey, 1982.
Wow, that looks like it just needs the interior put together, the hood put back on, then a good paint cleaning with a buffer, and that would be a great looking car.
Yea its not in too bad shape. It has seats, but needs carpets and a headliner and like you said, some paint. It also could use a new motor mount and of a course a tune up. My family owns an auto parts store so parts and paint are pretty cheap for me
