Default suspension for my 1966 Mustang restoration...mustang 2 front end?

i have a 1966 mustang conv, which i have been restoring for about 2 years with my father. my mustang is now ready for suspension and i have been shopping around.... i found this "mustang II front end" that look really good. i have a newer fuel injected 302 with a c4 tranny and a 9" rear. im hoping someone has this frontend kit or has heard about it and can give me some reviews. mines gonno have 12" disk drilled & slotted all the way around, dual piston calipers, coil overs all the way around, rack and pinion, & the best packege for the mustang 2 that they offer(not the economy). also im getting all this from rjays speed shop hopefully soon... if anyone knows of a cheaper place to buy this PLEASE let me KNOW!

Thanks.

I want a better front suspension for mine also...

I'm not sure where it was, but I recall reading a magazine article that expressed concern about installing the Mustang-II front suspension on a 65/66.

It does make more space under the hood for a larger engine by eliminating the need for the big bulges in the inner fender wells, but it puts the weight of the car on the lower frame rails and not on the tops of the shock towers as designed.

It sounds like a good way to go, otherwise. I'm just not sure if there is really any need for concern with that or not...

Hi, I put one in my 66, I bought a cross member from welder series and got the rest from ebay. If I was going to do it again I would buy one from them Hub-to-Hub Mustang II IFS, front suspension, cross members cheaper than heidts and they have a better lower control arm set up.
