Default 1967 Mustang need carburetor help

Hey all! I just purchased a 200ci engine that has had several upgrades done to it including a Weber 2-bbl carb. I am new to carbs and learning as I go so my question might seem ignorant to you but here goes....The description for this carb says that it has an electronic choke. I can pretty much figure out that means I dont have to connect the choke cable but is there any electircal connections needed. Thanks for any help.

I'm not familiar with the Weber, but on the traditional Holley with an electric choke there is an electrical connection that must be supplied with 12V switched power. Look for a metal tab on the choke that will accept a female, push on, electrical connector.

OK. So if it needs to be key activated power could that power come from the distributer? I only ask cuz the distributer on this has both a red and a black wire, where the original had only the black wire.
