 1970 Mustang Seatbelt Retractor question
I have a quick question. Today at a swap meet I picked up a full (all four) set of seatbelts from a 1970 Mustang with the shoulder harnesses (passenger side shoulder belt missing). I got them cheap because the spring for one of the retractors had popped out. The person selling had slit the back of the cover and pulled the retractor out to see if they could fix it but they couldn't. I was going to sell them or trade them. Well, I don't want to slit the other to see how the spring goes but I will if I have to. I was wondering, has anybody taken their retractors out and do they know how the spring goes? It's marked right, so I'm guessing its the passenger side. Thanks. |
