Default 1966 Steering box switch

I am pulling my engine to build a 347 and want to switch out steering boxes. I have lots of play in the stock one and want something tighter with fewer turns lock to lock. Are the Flaming River boxes good or does anyone have a better idea. Thanks, RC

I have heard both good and bad about the Flaming River box. I do not have any first hand experience with it.

I also, had a lot of play in the steering on my '66 fastback. It turned out to be the center link. The pittman arm bushing was bad. I would look at that first, as that is a much cheaper fix than a new box.
