1966 gt light problems, info required, please. When I turn on the fog light switch, under dash lights come on. New headlight switch, new fog light switch and wires, thanks

When you turn on the fog lights the TAIL lights should come on, not the ones under the dash. Sounds like a wire may be incorrectly plugged in somewhere? Are you using the separate fog light switch wiring harness that connects into the tail light wiring from the steering column?

I am using the harness and switch that came with my conversion kit and it is wired into the wires coming from the tailights. The tail lights do come on when the fogs are turned on.
