Default 1965 Mustang Fastback Quater Panel Vent

I have 65 FB, and the previous owner remove the hardware for the quarter panel vent, to replace with shelby window.

I want to restore it back to its Original state with all the required parts, does anyone know what I need to do to accomplish this.

Right now it is just a hole.

Hello. You will need to weld some metal into the car. The studs on back of the outer vent assembly go through some holes in some sheet metal and are held onto the car with nuts. All of that metal got cut out for the window installation.

Default 65 Fastback Vents

I assume you still have the outer vent assembly. Here are some pics that will give you an idea of the metal part you will have to fabricate. As Veronica said, the studs from the vent assembly go through the holes in the metal.
