Default Twist Style Hood Pin Install on a 1967 Mustang

I bought the California Special Twist Style Hood Pins that came with the brackets. I've only seen them on one car and can't remember how it all goes together. How do they install on my 67? Any pics, dimensions, advice, etc would be great! I will have to attach the brackets probably to the radiator core (somehow?) to locate and drill the holes in the hood. That much seems obvious, but attaching the brackets is evading me. And will the mushroom shaped hood bumpers still be used?

Thanks,

Alright, I determined that the brackets that Mustangs Unlimited suggests to buy with the Hood Pin set are Shelby specific and do not work with the Calif Specials. That caused my initial confusion. Those Shelby brackets just didn't look right to me. They returned my money with no hassle, but do not offer the correct brackets so I bought the right ones from Tony Branda and they should be in today. I also determined that the mushroom shaped hood bumpers are replaced by the Calif Special Hood Pin assembly. With that said...

Any advice on mounting/drilling the holes on/in the original hood bumper brackets and hood?
