I recently purchased new fender bolts for my 1964 1/2 Mustang. They arrived with a phosphate coating on them. I wanted to know what else I can do to prolong them looking so good? I've heard you can soak them in oil but unsure if this is good and what type of oil?? Any suggestions??

Hello. If you got the ones from AMK, they'll hold up just fine as-is. They don't need anything done to them.
