[Pig Muffin]

Hello, this is a dumb a$$ question on my end, but which way does this seal go into the the timing chain cover? It looks like it could go both ways (no pun intended) and I wanted to make sure I have it right the first time.

Pig,............ It is pressed in from the back.

If you dont have a small arbor press to press it in smooth and straight with, use a bench vise and place a small block of wood on each side so you dont mark anything.

I see that it goes in from the back, but the actual seal looks like it can go in 2 ways heads or tails, I will take a picture when I get home to see if its right.

The seal has a metal ring around it. The face on one side of the ring is flat and smooth and the other face has the raw edge of the ring exposed. That raw edge or "lip' faces the back
