Default 1967 Mustang instrument panel wiring pics

Hello,

Looking for pics of 1967 instrument wiring pigtails. Need pic that lists each wire seperately to what it goes to.

Anyone have this? Veronica?

Installing aftermarket instrument panel with Autometer phantom gauges that have some wires that I am not sure where to route to a factory harness.

The ones I am not sure of are the...

Green/Black for high beam
Green/White for left turn
White/Red oil sender

Thanks!

Hello. I don't have the diagrams for the 67s like I do the 65/66 cars, but, I do know that, from the factory, the white/red is the oil pressure, the green/white is the left turn signal and the green/black is the high beam indicator light.

Hi again. Come to think of it, I must have that diagram around here somewhere. I'll see if I can find it.

That is the way they are labeled but should the be in the main junction block with the factory 12 wires coming out of the harness and the instrument panel?

You can see how they are wired into a seperate block in the second picture.

Thanks and please let me know what you think!

Hi again. Here's the diagram for that. I do recall there being two plugs on the back of the instrument cluster, one of which is a two wire thing. What you have looks about right, but, it's been so long since I've actually been behind the instrument cluster of a 67, I'm not certain. The only wires back there which could really cause problems if they're hooked up wrong would be the the one supplying power to the instrument cluster voltage regulator, and the charge indicator light wiring. If you have those right, hook up the pod and see what you've got.

Veronica's diagram should do it for you.

Here's some other '67 diagrams, including all wiring, is here:

1967 Mustang Wiring and Vacuum Diagrams

On a stock '67 dash, the Speedometer is on the left and the Tach is on the right.

The attached photo may or may not help you.

BTW, you need to slow down, when you take photos of your dash. 85 mph is too fast! I hope it zeros when powered up.

OK, still fighting with my wiring!

Here is a picture of the original 67 dash wiring blocks I am trying to get straight.

I think I have everything in the large block done but the small plug with 2 wires are not making sense to me.

http://i889.photobucket.com/albums/a...turnwiring.jpg

#1 green / white = left turn signal ?

#2 blue / black = ?

I don't know what the blue/black wire goes to seperate from the large block?

Thanks!

Hi again. I think that the blue with a black stripe goes to the clock. The green with white is indeed the left turn indicator light on the dash.
