Default Round(?) wheels

Factory original, standard steel 14 x 5" wheels from the 60s are somewhat hard to come by these days so the choices available are limited. Bent or out-of-round wheels are common but make for a lumpy ride so I want to use only 'straight' wheels. But how straight is 'straight'? Riveted steel wheels will never be as true as a good alloy wheel but I don't have any specs to use as a guide.

I rotated each of my 12 wheels on a front hub and measured them with a dial indicator on the rim area where the tire bead seats. The best wheels seem to have about 0.030" of 'wobble' in both the radial direction as well as side to side (a '30' wheel); the worst has 0.100" (a 100 wheel) or +- 0.050" if you define zero as the center of dial indicator travel. I was surprised to find that they all seem to measure about the same in both directions which might mean (?) they were made that way. Most of the wheels are in the 30 to 40 range but I also have 50, 60, 75, 90 and 100 wheels.

A tire will help smooth out the ride but does anyone know how 'straight' a wheel has to be so that the wheel doesn't cause driving problems? I am thinking 30-50 is OK but 90 and 100 are not good. What about 60 and 75? The plan is to run radials if that makes any difference.
