Default correct distributor for 289 2v mustang

Hi All thanks for the previous help, I have a 289 2v for mustang convertible, early 66. I am tring to figure out the correct type of distributor based on the C5AF and C6AF, but am not sure how to tell its a manual or automatic or if its 4v other than the seller telling you, you be surprised what they tell you to make a sale. To many on ebay, have crazy numbers and letter. Can anyone tell the correct numbers and letters for my engine.

C5AF - 12127-ak/S ???? sample

I believe the vaccum I have is correct the screw in type not rubber hose. thanks all

Was it a CA car with Thermactor emission control? That makes a difference.

Both C6AF-12127-AK and -S were on '66 T/E cars with automatics. For manual T/E cars that would have been either -AJ or -J.

If it wasn't a T/E car then for 65 or 66 it would have been C5AF-12127-M for a manual car or -N for an automatic.
