Can anyone tell me what is good a good product to use on my new floor pan installation. I heard somewhere about a product that people use for sealing and sound deadning. I already have the tar like mats that go under the carpet. Guess what I'm looking for is something you brush on. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

p/u truck bed coating works great. there are several brands that you can roll or brush on.

Check out the stuff called "Lizardskin", you can google it and you will find it. its a sound deander, heat shield, and protects from corrsion, POR 15 is also very good and is a great sealer too.
I went with body paint(basecoat only) and then went with a product called Soundowner, its a tarlike stuff with an aluminum backer. Peela dn stick, great noise and heat supression, thin, and conforms easily to any shape - very similar to dynamat.

Thanks, that is a couple of great recommendations! Looks like NAPA paint supply carries the POR 15. I really appreciate the input.
