Default A9P with 6 speed?

So I'm far from this, but I eventually want to put 6 speed in my '70. I'm planning on converting to EFI and I have most of the stuff already including an A9P computer. So not only is that for an auto but how will i t handle the 6 speed tranny? Does it even matter?

Thanks guys

Yeah a 5 speed is better in a mustang.Look at a viper or corvette they need a 6th gear for the 200mph speeds.Last corvette i drove around i only used first and 2nd gear its all i needed around town.

The engine ecu does not manage the tranny too ?? does it??
I used a baumann tcs to run my 4R70W and the a9 to manage the engine.
