Default 302 Aluminum heads help please

I am totally lost on this subject.

Here is my problem. Got a 1971 Torino 302 with C4 in a 2700lb car.
The engine ,from a previous owner, already has Mallory dual point, alloy intake and new 4bbl.

For weight saving reasons I want to go as much alloy as possible, so, water pump and heads are next.

The car must have long legs, so probably going to 5 or 6 speed some time - or keep auto and change to >3.0 diff.

Performance wise, from tickover to 5000rpm will do - not looking for a 9 grand screamer. This is to be a fast road car - will never see a strip, well, maybe on the passenger seat !! haha.

Looking on ebay etc, there are so many heads, I get totally bogged down with all the info.

Have bought hei distributor, with vacuum advance, to get better mpg.

So, back to head choice. 190 or 210, and why ? Roller rockers ? and which ratio ??

Think there is already a good cam in there, but if not, any ideas to suit the above criteria ??

As I am in the UK, and the gas is quite good, I guess I should aim for 10 or better comp ratio.

Engine will have shorty headers and free flowing exhausts.

All help and info greatfull received.

If you want to have a look at the car its going in.......here it is.

Many thanks, Hugo.

It all depends on what you want out of the engine. it is the marriage between the intake, cam, head, compression, timing events, and exhaust.
you can have a $2000 set of heads, but if I only have a cam that has a mild duration and lift, say 220/220 480/480 those heads are pointless.
Most heads for 302s have had countless of hours of engineering behind them, and they work very well.
You can't go wrong with Edelbrock performers RPM, TFS, AFR165, not 185's too big, Dart, World Product, and Canfields.
or if you go with a full "top end kit" it will make things alot easier for you Edelbrock has a nice kit
has for the rockers i would wait until you have your cam lift to make up your mind because it will depend on your valve geometry
oh and the rear of that car is sick!

Thats too much, you need something In the 165-185cc for intake. You can do a 185cc incase you ever want to go bigger cam/intake/carb later but 190-210 is not neccessary unless your going to be racing or operating in a high RPM range all day.
