It's similar to a problem I had a while back. Turn the blinker that stops working on, take the taillamp lens off, and play with the bulb and pigtail till it works.

This is what happened to me. My left blinker stopped working whenever the headlamps or parking lamps were on. I also found that when I used the brake, it stopped working and my gauge lights came on. Turns out, the new LED lightbulb wasn't making good contact. So, I put the headlamps on, turned the left blinker on, and played with the bulb and pigtail till it started blinking. Then I checked to make sure everything else was working normally. They were, so I reassembled the taillamp and everything has been fine.

I'm not sure I understand the question. Do your taillights not come on with the brake applied or headlights on, or do your taillights come on but only the turn signal doesn't work?

I believe she means they work normally, but if she is braking or has the lights on they don't work. Its the same problem I had, and I posted the solution.
