1968 Mustang wiring diagrams WITH TACH, please help

Guys, does anyone have a set of 68 wire diagrams that clearly reflect the wiring for a car having a tach ? I have spent way to much money buying diagrams from everyone claiming they are for a car with tach. i have checked everywhere and even the ones posted on this site cover everyhting except a car with tach.

As you know, the wiring is different on a tach type car. the harnesses for the
-dash cluster
-engine feed
-firewall to headlamp
-under dash

Are all different for a car equipped with tach.

I have purchased all of these harnesses new, along with a dash cluster with tach which i had tested and serviced by the tachman. Yeah, its an investment! Anyway, I have every diagram i can find offered or published showing the electrical for the 68 but none of them reflect the wiring for the car equipped with tach. I want a set for trouble shooting. Therefore, can any body direct me to whom may have this information or where I may be able to obtain it ? Everyone i talk to says "sorry, cant get that" I just cant believe this is not available.

I dont know, i dont have ashop manual speciffically for the 68 mustang so I cant say for sure. if anyone out there has one that can look and see, then that would be great. i would buy one if it does but I hate to buy it and it turn out to be a copy of the 6 sets of wiring diagrams i already have.

No one will let you look before you buy when it comes to these diagrams and i am so tired of everyone saying "Yes it has every diagram including the tach version for mustang and shelby" only to discover it is the same as all the others

Hi again. Well, this has proven to be interesting. I said that I knew that I had them because I have originals from 'back in the day' of virtually every wiring diagram that Ford printed for everything through the end of the 70 model year. Not just Mustangs, but everything built by Ford. Cars, trucks, all the Lincoln, Mercury, etc... It turns out that the reason that you haven't been able to find one specific to the 68 Mustang with tach is that this diagram doesn't exist. :nogrinner You use the other, non-tach diagram along with this revision for the cars that came with a tach in 68. And, as if the dead hand of Henry Ford II was reaching up from the grave in an attempt to continue to baffle and confuse the Mustang enthusiasts, as soon as I tried to scan this, my scanner broke. So, I just took a picture of it. You should be able to make this out very easily, but, I just got back from buying a new wireless printer/scanner, etc... ( HP Photosmart Premium :yay )and I'm having a guy from Geek Squad install it in a couple of days, so, if this picture doesn't work out, I'll scan it in a couple of days.

Thanks "ronnie". This is what I'm looking for but I cant make out anything other than a few lines and what looks like a sketch of a tach or clock.

When you have a moment and the geek squad guy does his thing, please send me a scan. I really, really, really would appreciate it !

Nick, Thanks. i had already found most of these diagrams which i got from the tachmans website as well as the mustang monthly article. but i do appreciate your help

I converted my car from a standard non tach car to one with tach. therefore I went the extra mile and replaced the different harnesses which cost a lot of money but kept everything correct and current.

I wanted a set of diagrams so I could have them on hand when ever I need to trouble shoot a problem. Not to mention in my search it was really getting up my crawl why a clear set of diagrams do not exist. as you can see and from the help of others, there are bits and pieces but no full set.

because the multiple wire harnesses are different in some way, i really wanted to know what WAS different about each one. with everyones help, i am piecing together the differences.
