The problem with the designated driver program, it's not a desirable job.But if you ever get sucked into doing it, have fun with it. At the end of the night, drop them off at the wrong house.life isnt measured by the breaths that we take but rather by the lengths of the burnouts we make
There is a racing company that makes a kit but most people used it have problems getting it to fit.But why do you want your mustang to handle worse? You can get coilovers from tcp or global west and have the car handle better.
it would handle worse?!?!?!?! I honestly didn't know that

Ever since the fox body mustang the front suspension changed to the strut on spindle. Its fine in a normal car but you want handling its a downgrade. They sell kits for the newer mustangs to change the front suspension to a double a arm which is what you have now.If you get a set of coilovers that go to the lower a control arm like tcp or global west it will handle better and ride smoother. If you want max handling then get a shock tower repair kit its a weld in braces and a export brace and monte carlo bar. After all that your front end is as stiff as it can get.Or if you got 10k to spend G Machine Chassis has a frame for the mustangs lol. There is a lot of ways to make these cars ride and handle good it just depends your budget and how you want it.
Scca isn't racing to me or more of a hobby. The only big racing that strut on spindle do great on is drag racing.Or just look at the 3rd gen and 4th gen f body. The cars are the same unibody about the same weight. But the 3rd has strut on spindle the 4th is double a arms and the 4th gen pulled better numbers handling stock and it didn't have much more power either.
so your saying if i put 1999-2004 front suspension in my 1967 mustang it will handle worse? have you done it?

Yes the suspension from a newer mustang will handle like crap on your car.No i have tcp coiliovers on my 68 and would never downgrade to a strut on spindle ever.Rebuilding your stock set up with some upgrades is your best bet and its cheaper.
