Default C4 transmission for 200 6 cyl mustang

Need to know what C4 transmissions will fit to a 200 6 cylinder mustang? What year models and are the C4s for 289 V8 different or will it fit to the 6 cylinder? DaMoonDogie

They will work. You just need to change to the 6cyl bell housing.

use the flex plate (flywheel), bell housing, and converterfor the 200 and it will all mate up to your 200 - so long as the converter and year of the transmission are the same (different input shafts for 64-69 and 70- up)
