Not sure what you are trying to determine from the question, as there is no real subframe. But the the 68 body is essentially identical. The 69/70 body is different enough that I would not consider it to have the same subframe. Dimensionally there are similarities between between the 3 generations 65/66, 67/68 & 69/70. For example subframe connectors & export braces will usually fit all these model years.

65 and 66 chassis are wider. The 1967-70 Stangs are almost identical, however the 67-68 and 69-70 front sub frames are slightly different

Don't you mean they are narrower?

Thanks guys for the info. What I am trying to determine is if one set of sub-frame connectors will fit XXXX number of years of Mustangs. In my spare time I fab engine cradles, sub frame connectors etc. I have a set designed for the older Mustangs (196X - 1970?) Would like to determine that before I sell them. I think they will fit from 1964 1/2 thru 1970 Coupes & fastbacks. I don't have a convertable to try out on. Thanks for all your help. Anybody interested can get ahold of me at:

Thanks.
