Default 1971 fuel pump ???

Starting a rebuild on my 71 with a full stock 302. Gonna replace internals with hypereutectic piston engine kit. Havent decided on cam yet, but I got a weiand stealth manifold, holley 4160 carb and pertronix ignitor ignition system. My question is will a stock mechanical style fuel pump be good enough for a 600cfm 4 barrel carb? Any help will be greatly appriciated!

Yes. In a carbureted car, the fuel pump only needs enough pressure to get the fuel up to the carb and overcome the weight of the needle valves without the float pressing them closed. Too much pressure and the fuel will force it's way past the needle valves, and then you'd have gas all over the place. Venturi vaccuum is what determines how much fuel is needed, and 6psi @ 500rpm and 1pt/20 sec should be plenty enough to keep the bowls filled for a 600 cfm carb.
