Default AOD and Hedman Long Tube Headers

Anybody

Has anyone tried to fit an AOD where a C4 is with Hedman Long Tube Headers? Is the AOD case bigger? I've been told it won't fit. Any ideas?

Thanks
Jess

Yes they are bigger. They are about the width of a C-6. What's your application?

Application? If you mean what am I driving=69 Coupe, 351W, Comp Cam and the new roller rockers, Performer intake and modified 600 CFM, MSD box and wires, tricked out 69 heads, Long tube Hedman headers, Built C4 with 3.25 Detroit locker 9 inch. Running 255 60 15s on the rear, 225 60 14s on the front. This my daily ride. As equiped my milage averages around town and freeway 9mpg. The AOD or an AODE will give better milage and top end???
