I have the 4 lights on the dash just above the radio area on my '67.
there is a version to where the lights are in the center counsel.
I forget why, maybe on an A/C car?
They read;brake,belts,door and low fuel.
Is that auction still going on e bay?

Yeah they have them above the radio and on the console to either side of the console door. I dont think its on ebay anymore. You would buy it at that price? Can you post pics of it on your stang? does yours work?

I will take a picture tomorrow.
Yes mine works except the low fuel. You can't buy that sender anywhere that I know of.
They now repoduce the lenses but look so cheap I used mine over again.

Default convenience system

Wow, you paid that much ................ I guess if you want it bad enough. I'm certainly not one to judge :kooky:
I'm finishing up mine on a 1967 convert. Firstly, a few basic things. When you have the stock A/C then the Convenience lights are mounted on the sides of the center console, two lights on each side. If don't have A/C then you could install the lights in the center of the dash console, at least that's what Ford did. The wiring and mounting for the light mounts are different for each location. If you want to mount the lights in center console then you may want to start looking on Ebay for the correct console with the correct holes for the lights. They are pretty rare but every once in a while I see them. I've got an extra one but I'm just not sure I want to let it go.

To start with, Ford's factory repair manual has a fairly good wiring diagram for everything but even with that it's still really hard to install everything correctly. The convenience system that was being sold on Ebay looked pretty complete.

Tell you what, if you want I'll be happy to help you. My Cell is 503.828.5557 or email nydrmstoo@yahoo.com
