This is the place to go: http://www.deadhorsellc.com/

Great guy, became a Paxton dealer simply because he wanted one for his car and wanted to pay dealer pricing for it, so he sells em cheap

well I just spoke to paxton as I was interested too, seems it will only fit under the stock hood with the stock 4bbl cast iron manifold..........what a joke, with aftermarket heads you couldn't even put that cast iron mani on because of too many bolt holes.

Best option is to buy a supercharger, bracket and use a carb bonnet and make your own system that way it will fit under the stock hood. Thats what I'm looking at doing now.

Theres pleny of used superchargers out there, I'm told the vortecs are much better and the prochargers as well.

Long ago when I was contemplating getting a supercharger for my car, I talked to several people and companies and someone referred me to this gentleman:

Dick Landey
818-341-4341

I have seen Prochargers in action, and though expensive, very effective. I was at Super Chevy Show and they had their Chevelle their that has been featured in their magazine. They ran it once down the strip at 1pm without the Procharger and it ran a 12. The next runs were at 4pm, and in that time they bolted the Procharger on and you could watch them and all that good stuff. They rolled it back out there to run a 8 second 1/4 mile with the Procharger.

Prochargers are deffinity nice and the way to go if you can afford them, they also spool up much quicker than Paxton or Vorteck, Paxton and Vortech are the same company now, I just installed the Paxton kit on my 67 and had to buy a new intake and new dizzy to get it to fit, if you decide to go with one I would look into the procharger and a bonnet, worse case you may have to have the top of your intake milled down for a bit of hood clearance, plus just on personal experiece I don't like the carb inclosure there are too many places for blow-by and the linkage is a nightmare, I found that out the hardwat as I slid into a ditch after throttle got stuck wide open

Cool

well what im trying to do is give some more performance to a 351w on my 69 mustang. But i dont want to spend more money than i have to. I dont want something too special but something that is good enough to rape most cars on the street. If someone can give me links to what i would need, i would really appreciate it. thanks..

You can rape what's on the street without a supercharger dude. I've seen it time and time again. I ride with the guys that I guess you could say "own" this city and all of the surrounding cities for cars. We've got the fastest and we don't brag or boast, but when someone thinks they've got the stuff to beat us, we'll show them what power is all about. Pretty much I have the same goal as you dude, and I'm just going to put a REALLY hot cam in it with some nice heads and everything else.
