Whle replacing the fuel filter on my autolite 1100 1bbl the fuel inlet actually got cracked - as most know - autolite 1100's are not easy or cheap to come by especially in good shape - well mine was before the fuel inlet crack - so the question....
Has anyone used JB Weld on a carburetor - I was thinking of applying it to the outside of the carb to see if it would seal the crack - I mean after all if it doesnt work, it wasnt working anyway.
But still wanted to know if anyone has tried.

havent tried it on a carb specifically, but have used it in several different applications, the stuff is amazingly strong. Clean it up nicely and put it on. It will definitely hold.
