Default What 3G alternator fits 66?

I had a 3G alternator before but bought it off eBay. But what exact years and model would fit a 66 stang? Thinking I can pick one up at oreilly for cheaper than on eBay.

Default 3G Alternator option

Any of the newer 3G alternators will work as long as the long-bolt mount is 7 inches. I took the easy way out and ordered a 3G 95-amp alternator and conversion plug from Mustangs Unlimited.

95 amp alternator (PA1614E) is $154.95
Alternator conversion plug 3G upgrade (PA2802C) is $29.95

The conversion plugs allows you to continue to use your gauges.

I've attached a wiring digram of what goes where.

Good luck!

Dave
