I have most of my interior out to add 3 point seat belts, while I am at it, I also want to add a "hidden" stereo in a center console, and add kick panel and rear deck speakers. I also want to touch up some paint. When I look at interior parts, some pieces are offered in medium blue or light blue, and others are just listed as blue. I'm having a hard time figuring out what to get? Is the paint and headliner/visors medium blue and the vinyl pieces just "blue."? I don't think it's light blue. I want the center console and paint for the kick panels, etc to match...

"Blue" is most likely the one you want. Light blue is what I have in my interior here. It's a '67, but I think those colors stayed the same.

Well, that's why I'm confused... the different parts are offered in different colors.

"Factory" Paint colors for the interior are available only in light blue and medium blue... I think mine would be medium blue. Also, parts like the headliner and visors are only offered in light blue and medium blue, but then other pieces for the interior are offered in dark blue or blue. I want to get one of the hump hugger consoles so I don't have to mount it, I can set it in and remove it, but they're only offered in light blue and dark blue... ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH!

Just go with Black. There's only one Black. No light Black or even med Black. Black is Black. I went with Black, looks Great!

A friend of mine has a car with blue interior. It looks like his interior has 3 different shades blues. It drove him crazy trying to buy the right blue. Everytime he bought another blue part, it was a differnt shade of blue. I know how you feel. Just kidding on the black part.

My interior has several different shades as well. There's the paint color which appears to be a meduim blue. The headliner/visors are a lighterish blue than that, then the door panels/seats appear to match at a normal "blue"? then the carpet is kind of dark blue. It can make a guy crazy...

I didn't want to order wrong parts, and I needed a couple things today... so I drove up to Charlotte and paid NPD a visit with a couple interior pieces in tow with me from my car. It turns out my seats/door panels/etc are either "blue or dark blue" which seems to pretty much mean the same thing. The kick panel speakers were only offered in light blue which is really close to what's in the car now, maybe a tick lighter, and I do still think the painted parts are medium blue? Glad I went, cool place. I'll be going again...

I picked up kick panel speaker pods, a center console (going to hide a radio in it), rear deck speaker covers (way overpriced for what you get), a couple trim pieces to replace some pitted ones, Fomoco headlights (current ones don't match and one is about to blow) and the most expensive thing was the power brake dual reservior kit.

The console color matches better "in person". The pics make it look like it's a lot different, it's really close.
