Help with 1966 Mustang GT Coupe

Is it "correct" for the tail lights, fog lights, and instrument cluster lights to come one when the fog light switch is moved to the on position? The vehicle is what I believe to be a factory equipt 1966 Ford Mustang GT coupe.
