Default Original color? or sweet blue...

Hello all, personally my mustang project is far from done, but so far its coming along quite well... My question is, should I paint the car its factory original color? which is lime gold... or should i color it whatever color i feel it should be?... the only reason that I'am having trouble with this decsion, is because almost everything on the car, is original, I guess I got real lucky, almost everything on the car is factory original (slighty rusted... but original) for awhile i plan on just driving it around so i want to look good in it... but what if i decide to trade it or sell it?... i dont want to have to repaint it... much thanks...

Hello. On lime gold cars ,painting them the wrong color doesn't seem to have much of an effect on their market value. Some people like that color but not many.If the car doesn't have a green interior you could paint it pretty much any color you like.Hope that helps.

Hi, my 68' was lime gold also. Or as I refer to it as "puke" gold!

Now it is primer grey, but I'm making the transition to pepper grey metallic, which looks much cooler than the lime. I say paint it man! Make it look nice the way you want it. Don't forget to spray under the trunk lid, door jams, etc.
