1966 Quarter Window Regulator Removal

Hello everyone!

I have an issue removing the quarter window regulator, the second arm (shown in picture) will not come off, supposedly the instructions was it would pop right off after removing the clip but after trying to remove it even with pressure it will not come off, the other arm came off with no hassle, am I doing something wrong? any tips?

My plan was to use a hammer (the nail remover part) to see if that can pull it off.

I am replacing the quarter window regulator with a new one.

(I hope the pictures shows)

Are you trying to remove it from the car or is the assembly out and you are trying to tear it down to replace the roller bushings?

Hello Icerat,

I am going to replace the complete window regulator assembly, and during my lunch break I tried it with a hammer and it pulled apart easily. I will remove the complete assembly tonight and probably place the new one in tomorrow.

thanks anyways!
