Wink Formuling Steering Wheel

I friend of mine gave me a formuling steering wheel that he found in his garage while cleaning it out. It just so happens that I'm in need of a nice new wheel and its in near perfect condition. However im having difficulty locating an adapter to fit my 67. A search for "formuling" yeilded not much except for a bunch of VW crap. It has a 9 bolt pattern on the wheel and the adapter that came with it that dosn't fit. the adaptor is too big for the shaft. The back of the wheel simply reads, "made in france" and the front, "Formuling" that is all the markings. Does anybody know anything about these wheels and whether i can make it fit my mustang?

Hello.I'm pretty sure that the formuling wheel has the same screw pattern as the Mota Lita steering wheels. You might try using the hub for a 65 Shelby which would fit your car. They are available from a number of places.Hope that helps.

Thumbs up Try local Foreign auto parts store.

I brought an adaptor for a 1970 Chevy nova at my local auto parts store. They didn't have it in stock but they were able to order it and I had it in 4 days. Good luck!

PS. Formuling makes a Great steering wheel. It's worth the trouble.
