Default 68 Coupe (200ci): a few suspension questions

How goes it?

Every weekend or so my grandfather and I tinker around with his restored 1968 Coupe, which has the Inline Six. The body/interior/engine are all near 100%, but the still original suspension :hearton: is even "boatier" than my crown vic.

We're looking to upgrade springs and shocks; what would you recommend?

Something that's a good bang for the buck is the best solution, something that will keep the car looking original. (Rear Coils would be okay, if it’s cheaper to do than leaf springs).

What can you recommend/learn me?

Check out the suspension kits from Mustangs Plus, also from Mustangs Unlimited. They have front and rear sway bars which are really going to imrpove the handling, plus better shocks. I think the kit is like $250, I forget..

Allright, thanks. Where is this "Mustangs Plus?"

I guess I'll try and google it.

They are both companies that have parts catalogs for classic Mustangs.

http://www.mustangsplus.com/

http://www.mustangsunlimited.com/

They have online ordering and parts stuff, but I prefer to get a real catalog and enjoy it daily while I am sitting in my (ahem) reading room.
