Hi congratulations again on your new Mustang. The 1970 Mach 1's did not come with the Magnum 500 wheels. The only Mustangs that came with those wheels on were the Boss 302 and Boss 429 models. You could order them through the dealer and over the years it has become the most popular replacement wheel for many Mustang owners (including your truly).

This is the wheel cover that was standard on 1970 Mach 1's, it is not a "wheel" but really just a hupcap on a steel rim:

If I was looking for an attractive wheel for a 69/70 Mustang, this is one I'd seriously consider, they were used in the 1969/70 Trans Am series on the Boss 302 Mustangs:

Do a "Goggle" search and you'll see hundreds of pictures of 69/70 Mustangs with different wheel combinations like this:

i was always thinkin of the big cougar mid 70's mag. the honey comb, wagon wheel looking ones. i dunno why i think i may have seen one with those on it, not sure, but thought they might look sharp. and theyre 15's i believe. and should be some around pretty cheap.

How about some 17x9 late model Mach 1 rims? Semi-classic look but very updated.

Hi Swede. With the low dollar / high Euro exchange rate, I would have though you could buy 17 inch rims for next to nothing over there!!

Yes the EURO is strong, but unfortunately we have the SWEDISH KRONOR, the exchange rate is good for us but then it costs 200 USD to fright them and then we pay about 25% tax on the price of the wheels + frieght so thats no help MAYBE some nice kind and HONEST American will send them to me IF I pay?? then my tax bill wont be 25%
I priced som American Racing Torq Thrust here in Sweden and for the 17 inch they go for 4000 SEK or about 400 USD and I think i will need 4 of them so that comes to $1600 USD so NO they arent cheap here, THEN I have to buy tyres
Oh well its my birthday soon or Santa will be coming in another "8 MONTHS"

there are actually 3 different styles of that hub cap, and finding a good one is real hard, since many grease monkeys over the years have taken impact wrenchs to the lugs...

the back spacing is compleatly different, you will most likely need spacers

Could someone please explain these spacers to me? How they work and how I would know which spacing I would need?
Thankyou
