[FastbackTX]

I just got back my 289 that has been honed 0.30 over and ready for build.
I am using new forged flattop pistons, CC 262H cam, Edelbrock F4B intake (shelby clone), headers, Holley 600cfm, new double roller timing chain, clevite, melling..ect for the bottom end. The rest is 4 speed top loader, 9 inch posi.
I am rebuilding this motor and the heads that came with it.
I plan on gasket matching if they need it.
The heads are DO0E 302 69 is what the casting say.

Anyone shed some light and tell me why these heads are on this performance 289? http://www.allfordmustangs.com/forum...cons/icon5.gif It seems it is a Shelby clone engine before.
