I've found a 1967 Mustang with a 351 in good condition for about $5,000. But as we all know, automatics are kinda boring. How much trouble would it be to convert it to a manual? I'm not looking to do it myself by any means. I don't have a shop or the experience being only 17, but would it be just dropping it off at a shop to change the transmission or would there be other work? And any cost estimates of about what you'd think it would cost will be appreciated.

A recent thread had a list of parts needed for a '66 conversion, the parts needed would be the same just for your year. Do a search. Cost depends on parts and labor rates in your area. Ballpark??- about$2500.
