Default Need Help w/ Front Brakes & Suspension

Hello, I am working on a 68' Coupe and have just started road testing it. It has a few issues that I'm trying to figure out, please help. It has had the front suspension rebuilt and front Granada disc. (was done before i bought car) Everything appears to look okay.
When taking the car around the block it does the following:
-front brakes make a "screeching" sound that gets louder with higher speed
-the passenger side front tire area makes a big "clonk" sound when turning the wheels
The brakes will stop the car but I have no clue what is causing this sound. Also this car has never had a wheel alignment since I purchased it.

Any clues, ideas, suggestions are welcome. I thought it might have something to do with the balljoints on the pass. side, but after inspecting it looks like new control arms were installed that still had Ford sticker on them. Maybe they didn't tighten something? As for the brakes, I am stumped.

I would jack up that right side and try duplicating the noises by shaking, spinning the wheel. check the pads to make sure in proper position and make sure the wheel isn't rubbing the caliper. A good inspection is very helpful. You never know what is wrong until you look sometimes. Also it could be the idler arm loose on the frame. Just check with spring loaded and unloaded. I keep digressing, but maybe the upper control arm bushings are bad. Check your shock absorber. good luck

If the brakes are squeaking all the time I'd check to see if their binding, the easiest way to check is by jacking up the wheels and seeing if they keep spinning after you've given them a push. You're best to do this after a run as the binding often doesn't occur until the brakes warm up. If they only squeak when applied, try taking out the pads and slipping a bit of copper grease on the back (where they meet the pistons and caliper, but nowhere near the discs).

as for the knocking...not sure, but good luck.
