Default Engine sawp

Hey guys i am new here, i have a 1969 mustang fastback, it needs a new engine and i need some advice on which one to pick. i am looking for some serious power gains. The ones i am looking at are complete turn key crate engines. The first one is a 351W with 405 horsepower- this one cost $5100, the second one is a 408W with 495 horsepower- it costs $7400, Do these sound like good prices, remeber it has the carbuerator and everything else needed to drop it in the car and go. I do realise that i would need a different trans,, and drive shaft. I really would like the 408 but im not sure if it will work in the 69 stang. Any help would be greatly appriciated. I am a big power guy so i dont really want a 302, i want to be around 500 horses that why i want the 408. If i am ignorant please tell me that i am way over my head if i truly am. Thanks guys, i appriciate it.

throw, both will work, but you are going to run into a problem with the rear suspension and going straight. you will also need a 9 inch rear end. What do you want to do with the car? street? strip? road race? show winner?
