i want to buy a stroker kit for my 302 but i'm not sure witch one to buy, i'm looking for the cheapest and biggest.

but my block is bored .060 over.

I have had some bad luck with SCAT cranks, and with a .060 overbore, I personly would look for another block

I did not want to bad mouth CHP, but I have seen the cranks they use. They are cheap China made castings and there is info around saying that there was a bunch of these cranks cast with the counter weight off center. With that said, they have to drill the piss out of them to get it right again. No thanks.

I have a Scat crank. It is one of the nicest cranks I have seen in a long time. Plus made in the USA! I have no problems sending 600-700hp through it.

I do agree the block has to go. Bored to far.

Justin, I just finished up a 331 for my bro....the first SCAT crank was sooooo bad, it bounced out of the spin ballencer at the machine shop

When I go to get mine balanced I will pass that info on to my machinist.

It just goes to show you that you need to check out the parts you receive. Don't assume you have good parts. Everything needs to be measured and then measured again. Make sure it's in writing that they will take the parts back if they do not check out.
