Right now my 68 has a 200 6 cyl and a auto trans, is there any v8's that will mount up to my trans? I would like to do a quick v8 swap and then come winter swap the trans for a manual. Also what cars should I look for for the motor would be helpful.

You'll need a V8 bell for the I6 tranny but it'll work. Look in any 65-72 car for a bolt in enine and any 65-77 302 car/truck/whatever for an engine that'll bolt in with the correct car/mustang pieces added on. 77-01 5.0/302 will work as well.
