Default Power Antenna for 1966 Convertible

Has anyone got any step by step guidance on the installation of a power antenna in a 1966 convertible? Do I have to remove the fender? Is there enough room?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Remove the fender. Its the easiest way. (Actually, you can get away sometimes with just loosening everything enough to get your hand in the gap - but I wouldnt chance tweaking the fender that way...)
