Default Whos the BOSS 302?

May sound kinda stupid, but ca anyone give me a complete run down of the parts that came in the BOSS 302. I know about the Cleveland heads gafted onto the 302 and other basics, but what rods did they use, what size cam etc. Also, can anyone tell me how responsive those engines are to mods. My uncle went through three of them in the 80s. That engine is really what inspired me to be a musclecar guy, or kid, at age 4. I used to sit in it all the time. He had a grabber blue '70 Mach 1, a green '69 Mach 1 before it which I never seen, that he put the complete Boss setup in. The engine, the toploader, the traction lok rear, and the suspension. I never rode in it. When I was about 6 or 7 he was trying to get it running again after it sat for about 10 years. A distributor prevented it from running and was a 300 dollar peice. I remember going to the parts store with him. He didnt have the cash with him and didnt want to put it on the card. Anyway, it never got fixed, sat, and was in the crusher about 2 years later. He really regrets it now, not because of the value, but because he would have let me have it and restore it, and if he kept it until I was about 9, he would have know how much I loved old cars and saved it but when I was younger I didnt really care about the power of cars, I just liked them. Anyway, im babling. But my other uncle, who is only about 27 and is a pretty good friend of mine, has told me stories about that thing just being crazy fast. It had the 4.10 so it should have been. Anyway, can I get any info on how the engines responded to mods and mostly how it effected ET. I know it wasnt great 0-40 because of those huge ports, but I know it could breath because of those huge ports once it revved up.
