I am looking into installing a rack and pinion kit in my '65. It manual steering now, but ideally i'd like a power rack. I have longpipe hooker headers and i've read that is going to get in the way of a power rack.
has anyone had any experience with these? Is a manual rack noticeably easier to turn than stock manual steering? any input would be HUGELY appreciated.

Manual rack and pinion should feel almost like power steering to you. Great improvement.
