Hey guys. I have a 67 coupe that leaks under the dash when it rains. It's not mobile yet so I think it may be the windshield seal. It's has been sitting about ten years before I bought it. Any ideas?

Check the cowl vent. They are notorious for rusting out and leaking. If it's not a driver pop for a car cover until you can fix her. It will at least keep further damage to a minimum.

I'm new to the Mustang world, but I understand that the cowl is a typical place for rust. And is very difficult to fix.

One of the '66s we looked at had wet floor mats & carpet. They told me the side window seals leaked. I searched this forum and others and discovered the cowl issue. Can be verified by pouring a bucket of water on the cowl vent and checking for water under the dash, through the fresh air vents.

Cowl Vent.

If it were the seal around the windshield, and NOT the cowl vent, that would be unusual.
