Default question on horns on a 65 Mustang coupe

I want to replace the 2 horns on my 65 coupe, I see in some catalogs they show low pitch and high pitch for the same year, which ones do I have ,and which horn goes on drivers side and which horn goes on pass side

Hello. You need to have one each.As far as which one goes on which side goes, I always just went with the way connector on the horn was pointing. The D/S wire is a lot shorter than the P/S wire, so the connector on the horn needs to be pointing kind of upward and outboard on the D/S.Hope that helps.

To add to what was just said, all automobile horns have a low and a high pitch horn. This gives it the distinct horn sound. Modern cars often have both horns in a single unit. To determine which side each goes on, either do as Veronica said or look at the repair manuel(if you have one) so see how each looks.
