Default can someone decode a vin for me?

I just bought another 67 mustang i think it just a regular 67 289/auto but would like to know some history on it like where it was built and the date thanks in advance!

first you want to get the vin number off the door. then check it witha adecoder book, you can buy one at any mustang shop or online. It will tell you the date, plant, number, color, interior, engine all that good stuff

NEVER trust the door data tag, always use the VIN stamped on the fender apron...I can swap a door in 20 minutes, I can swap the data tag in 5...If you read the data tag, it clearly states that the VIN stamped on it is not for legal use
