Default More help needed, leaking valve cover this time

I have a set of M/T aluminum valve covers, the passenger side just won't stop leaking oil. I have replaced the gasket twice with the rubber type, and tried using RTV blue on the gasket the last time. I put a straight edge on the cover, doesn't seem to be warped.

I'm starting to wonder if it has anything to do with the oil cap/ pcv valve setup. It has a PCV valve on the driver side going straight to the carb base, and a twist on cap on the pass side so it's not vented.
Could the twist on cap make it build up pressure and blow oil out at weak spots?

Got no responses 1st post, trying again.
Blew out another gasket since then, a quality rubber gasket, so it has to be pressure in the valve cover.
I can't understand why, though.
I put a vented cap on it, and oil instantly leaked out of the cap and ran down onto the exhaust manifold.

Hello. I think that I'd make sure that the pcv valve was working first. If not, that would account for what's happening. It also sounds like your valve covers don't have any baffle plate to keep the oil from getting sprayed straight up into the breather cap. That would cause the pcv valve to get all clogged up and fail prematurely. But, these are just guesses.Good luck.
