I'm gonna be replacing the entire front end on my 67, and I like the older style 65-66 front (gt350). So I figure since I'm gonna replace the entire front anyway--

Do the 65-66 style fenders have the same bolt pattern at the door jambs,etc as the 67? If they would bolt up correctly I could just swap the fenders, hood, headlight housings, grille, and use the 65-66 gt350 front apron. It should all bolt on to the 67 since I'm swapping all the parts, right?

Is this a bad plan? Someone please enlighten me. Is it this simple... or is some custom fabrication gonna be required? Thanks

Wont work...67 is a lot wider than a 65/66, body lines are different and nothing will match up. If you want a 66 sell the 67 and get a 66. The swap wont work.

Thanks. That's not good news but it saves me alot of grief. I appriciate it. IMO wider is better anyway. I'll just stick with what I've got tho and probly end up buying the Eleanor front end. :O
