Try the "Total Control Rack and Pinion Steering Kit" from Mustangs Plus, comes with everything you need.
Price is around $1,300.

I think you need to change the pitman arm also, if you're going to change the centerlink.
There's also a manual steering adaptor you can buy, which swaps in place of the control valve (or whatever the actuator thing is) on the driver's side end of the center link.

no, the pitman arm is the same, as for the convertor, only for 67-70

I would change the steering box too, less struggle to steer when you're trying to get into a tight spot.

I am actually having the same issues, but on a '67 Stang. My power steering ram bracket somehow completely stripped the bolt holes, and I cant, at this time, afford to go to R&P. I think the easiest way will be going to manual. Does anyone have a '67 or '68 with manual steering? How tough is it on normal driving and parking. Can it be a good daily driver?

I just took my PS off the car, and it freed up some HP too. It's different, and harder to turn, but I would never go back .
