Question have a simple question.....

i have a 68 mustang that has been giving me fits (LOL) i bought a 1989 351W FI that i thought about installing..... (it currently has no motor or tranny but vin showed it to have had a 302 2 barrel) then i started thinking about that 351W seen in the catalogs 427 stroker kits.A) would that be a good motor for my car? B) if i changed it over to carb would "all" i have to do is change out the intake/carb i mean would the distributor stay the same or would it need to be changed out? C) water pump would it stay the same? etc....D) finally i know lol would a C4 handle the HP ( i hope 400hp maybe more lol) i mean i see online and in ALOT of magazines the 347 stroked 302 but you never read about the 427 stroked 351..... the motor needs to be rebuilt anyway so i figures might as well GO FAST AND DIE YOUNG (james dean) thanks everyone and i hope to hear from someone in the near future!!

Yeah, the 351 would be an awesome motor for that car. The swap can be done. You'll have to check into things like headers and exhaust, transmissions, driveshafts, bellhousings and things like that. I know it's very possible.
